HYMAX dual sealing - HYMAX products feature mechanical sealing, similar to other products, which is achieved with the bolt closing mechanism, In addition, HYMAX® achieves hydraulic sealing using its progressive hydraulically-assisted gasket which self-inflates using flowing water pressure. The patented gasket self-inflates under rising water pressure conditions and exerts more pressure on the sealed pipe to maintain a perfect seal. 

The hydraulic gasket is designed for another unique feature in all HYMAX® family products. It allows flexible angular deflection of up to 4° on either side of the product during installation, as well as dynamic deflection of 4° post-installation. This feature enables perfect sealing even under unstable ground conditions and temperature fluctuations and reduces the risk of future breaks.

The patented gripping system featured in the Hymax Grip product family includes universal gripping teeth that are designed to restrain most metal and plastic pipes.

Hymax products' nuts and bolts go through a unique dry treatment process, Molecular Anti-Galling (MAG), based on embedded zinc. MAG technology eliminates the need to grease bolts and the effects of dirt and sand; preventing galling and enabling repeated bolt tightening.

The HYMAX VERSA and EZ-MAX’s enforced bolt holders are uniquely designed to increase user-friendliness as a main advantage of the product. The patented bolt holders allow the installer to tighten the bolts with only one hand, with no counter-pressure to the bolt heads at the back of the closing mechanism.

Innovative product engineering is also manifested by Hymax in its Enforced Insulated Bolts which are part of the HYMAX VERSA’s design. Since mixing two types of metal with different electrical conductivity might cause corrosion, we coated the HYMAX VERSA bolts with plastic insulation which prevents touching of metal pipes.

HYMAX Versa and EZ-MAX products are equipped with a patented locking mechanism designed for stainless steel products. With fewer top-facing bolts, the mechanism allows easy tightening of bolts. In order to open the wrappable clamp, bolts must be loosened without being taken out all the way. This feature totally prevents any chance of losing a bolt in the ditch.
